Kobe Bryant the professional basketball player, passed away at age 41 in a helicopter crash. He was known as one of basketballs most praised players. He was one of the greatest players of all times. About 3 hours after he passed away a reported reposted about an incident that happened back in 2003. Back in 2003 he was accused of rape, but the question in ethics that comes up is.. was it ethical to bring this past situtation back up so close to the time of his death. Many people ended up sending death threats to the reported. She was called “Cold hearted, insensitive, and heartless”. Would this be considered unethical?
We think that she shouldn’t have posted that tweet bringing up a past situation so soon to his death. But on the other side, it is also her job to do this. Its also unethical for people to be sending her death threats for kind of just doing her job.
